Patrick Traynor was appointed as a director to Drogheda Port Company in May 2002 and was nominated as Chairman in December 2004.

He served as a member of Drogheda Harbour Commissioners from 1974 - 1996, acting as Chairman in 1978 - 1980, and 1991 - 1996.

He was a member of Meath Co. Council from 1974 - 1990, serving as Chairman in 1989 - 90. He also served as a member of the Irish Ports Association 1985 - 1997 and was Chairman in 1991 - 92.

Paul Bell

Paul Bell, was appointed to the Drogheda Port Company, as the Drogheda Borough Council representative, in 2004. Paul is an elected public representative, serving on the Drogheda Borough Council.

Paul works for SIPTU, as a trade union official, serving in the health services, having previously served at Shannon Airport. He has a BA in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, and a Diploma in Communications and Public Relations.


Cormac Bohan

Cormac Bohan was appointed to the company in October 2004. He is a Compliance & Trustee Manager for State Street Bank in Dublin's International Financial Services Centre and has over ten years experience in the industry. Cormac also has a keen interest in Strategic Planning and has made detailed submissions to the National Spatial Strategy, Strategic Planning Guidelines for the Greater Dublin Area and to local authorities on various planning matters in relation to the Drogheda area.

Cormac is Chairman of the Corporate Governance & Audit Committee.


Michael Coyle

Michael Coyle was appointed as director in 2002. Michael has worked in logistics for over 30 years as part of the Irish Rail Group during which he operated extensively in Drogheda Port.


Jimmy Cudden

Jimmy Cudden was re-appointed to the Drogheda Port Company in 2002 as the Meath County Council representative and serves as an elected public representative in Meath.

Jimmy has been an elected member of Meath County Council for the past 24 years and as a Director\Commissioner to Drogheda Port Company for 17 years.


William Lennon

William Lennon was appointed to the current Board of the company in April 2002 and has been Director/Commissioner on all previous Boards since 1983. He is Managing Director of Patrick Monahan (Drogheda) Limited, a major shipping and stevedoring company in the Port and holds directorship in an associated company. He is a current council member of the Irish Ship's Agent Association of which he was also a past President.

William is a member of the development and pension sub-committees of the Drogheda Port Company.

Councillor Jacqui McConville is an elected member of Louth County Council and was appointed to the Board in 2003. She is a member of the Infrastructural/Marine Strategic Policy Committee and is a member of the Steering Committee for the Strategic Planning of the Greater Drogheda Area. She is a former Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council and is a Board Member of B.I.M.

Jacqui is member of Drogheda Port Company’s Audit Committee.

Frank Maher is a member of Louth County Council and Drogheda Borough Council. He was appointed to the Board of Drogheda Port Company in 2003.

He previously served as a member and Chairman of Drogheda Harbour Commissioners. He is member of Co. Louth Vocational Education Committee and a Director of Drogheda Community Services Centre. He is also a member of the Board of Management of St. Oliver's Community College, Drogheda.

Tom O’Reilly was appointed to the board of the company in 1997. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.

He is currently the Managing Director of Martin Butterly and Co. Shipbrokers Drogheda. He as been past president of both Drogheda Chamber of Commerce, the Irish Ship Agents Association and a Past Treasurer of the Chambers of Commence of Ireland.

David Pryor was appointed as a director with Drogheda Port Company Ltd in April 2002.

He has a business and consulting background having worked in the areas of market research, marketing, business planning, project management and strategic planning.

He is a former CEO and Company Secretary with Drogheda Chamber of Commerce.  He was also Member of Chambers of Commerce of Ireland (CCI) Transport Policy Committee.

David is an active member and participant on the Development, Pension and Audit Sub Committees in Drogheda Port Company since 2003.

He is also involved in policy submission preparatory work on behalf of the Board. 

David works as a Strategy Development Officer with Fingal Development Board in Swords.  He is involved in managing a number of the Board's Development Initiatives related to economic development, Dublin Airport Stakeholders Forum, Planning, Sustainability, Transport and Tourism.

Aged 44, he is a graduate of the College of marketing and Design in Dublin and University of Durham, married to Paula and has 2 children Jennifer and Andrew aged 9 and 6.


Ms Maria O'Brien Campbell

Maria O'Brien Campbell was appointed a Director of Drogheda Port Company in May 2005.

Maria was Mayor of Drogheda on two occasions and was the first female to be elected to the office of Mayor in the history of the ancient and historic Borough of Drogheda.

She is a member of County Louth Vocational Educational Committee, a member of the Board of Governors of Dundalk Institute of Technology and a Member of the Drogheda Community Workshop.
