The port company has over the years been involved in a number of local art projects, the most recent of which was the production of the CD ‘A river of memories’ by Michael Holohan and Breida Delaney.
Since 2002 Drogheda Port Company on an annual basis commission a work of art from a local artist. The objective of the commission is to help identify and assist new local talent as well as supporting existing artists in the area.
It is envisaged that over a period of time a unique collection of diverse local art will be available in one collection representing the best of local talent.
